In my many years experience with Dr. Srivastava, she puts much effort and care into retaining as much of the natural tooth as possible. In other words, she tries to make the restorations as small as they can be and still get the job done. I remember an extreme case where a tooth was so badly decayed that the nerve was almost exposed. If the nerve became exposed, the tooth would need a root canal. She drilled very slowly and carefully for a long time to try to preserve the tooth, and she succeeded. She also tries to reverse the earliest stages of decay with MI Paste so she doesn't have to do any work at all. Several times, with her help, I have completely avoided dental work on particular teeth by using MI Paste. I am most thankful to Dr. Srivastava for this approach.

Dr. Srivastava must be one of the more skilled, more advanced, more devoted, more patient-centered, caring and pain-free prosthodontists in New York. I would go so far as to say she must be one of the best anywhere because I can't imagine a better dental experience. I have had the good fortune to be in her expert hands for nearly three decades and have received stellar care from the beginning. Though I now live over two hours from the city, I will travel in for the day because I know her work will be beautiful and it will last. In the end, I save time and expense by having the work done meticulously at once. I have recommended Dr. Srivastava to some of my most dentist-phobic friends, and they have all been grateful to find a dentist they actually enjoy going to. Truly, for the best in dental care in NYC, you need look no further.

Dr. Castracane and his team do thorough, stellar work, all accomplished with the most modern equipment that the industry has to offer. They are compassionate, friendly, explain everything thoroughly, and have the in-house capability to deal with the most complex of cases. Dr. Castracane also has a network of doctors which he will not hesitate to refer you to, should something require specialization. The office staff is extremely professional and responsive.

Dr. Srivastava has done a great deal of work in my mouth over the course of many years including fillings, inlays, onlays, and a crown. As my old silver fillings cracked and wore out, she has replaced them with state-of-the art polymers and ceramics. I can honestly say that Dr. Srivastava is one of the most competent, caring medical professionals (including both doctors and dentists) I've ever had the good luck to be treated by.

I mainly see Dr. Castracane and he is the best! Every time I come here, I am greeted with kindness, the staff is always really professional. Dr. Castracane is pretty funny and always keeps communication clear about what's wrong/going right. I came in late once and they still took me in, which is awesome for a Manhattan dentist office.

Dr Srivastava has been handling our family dental needs for more than a decade. She is professional and compassionate and her staff is fantastic. Lauren is really the best hygienist on the planet, and we always feel safe and taken care of when we need our teeth taken care of.

I had a perfect root canal procedure by Dr. Castracane (pain-free recovery, not even one Advil!) The amazingly talented and meticulous Dr. Srivastava then went on to “reconstruct” my tooth (by core buildup and three surface onlay), resulting in a flawless, natural look and feel of the treated tooth. All along the “marathon” treatment sessions I was so impressed by the seamless, perfectly coordinated teamwork of these two amazing professionals, dedicated to perfect the art of dentistry, one patient at a time. I am one patient who can testify that I owe my oral health to both of them and their team.

Lauren is absolutely amazing and thoroughly explains every step so you can make sure her hard work doesn’t go to waste. I love Dr. C as he is reassuring, professional, and gentle. He approached and treated me based on my individual concerns and history. I have gotten compliments on my smile since I’ve started following their plan for me too! Dr. C’s wife, Dr. S makes some amazing playlists for the office and it’s always nice to hear different music. The front desk staff is so pleasant and courteous. 10/10 all around!

Dr. Srivastava, Dr. Castracane, and their team provide the best dental care I have ever received. They’re caring professionals who clearly love what they do. They’ve actually discouraged me from doing work that they felt wasn’t necessary, even though it would mean less money for them. They have different specialties and are quick to bring the other in for an opinion when appropriate. Or recommend someone outside of the practice if it’s best for your needs. In my case, Dr. Srivastava recommended another practitioner & she’s taken an active role in communicating with him to determine the best path forward, not only at the beginning of my treatment plan but throughout. If you've got the genes that send you to the dentist chair more often that you would like, this is the place to go. The staff is warm, and the office is beautiful. Drs. Srivastava and Castracane are an intelligent and caring duo.

I have been going to your practice for my dental care for many years. I always rest assured that I'll receive excellent care from Dr. Srivastava and the team. Dr. S is meticulous and detail-oriented, and she is personable too - she knows how to put people at ease. The whole team is wonderful - they take the fear out of dental care! Laura is an absolute gem! After returning for a cleaning after a one year absence, she recommended a laser-assisted deep periodontal cleaning to tackle plaque buildup and early signs of gingivitis. Dr. Srivastiva is the best dentist I have ever been to. Approximately 40 years ago she put crowns on my 2 front teeth and they are still going strong and look great. Her bedside manner and skill are unsurpassed in my experience. Her work is built to last.
